Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to lease an existing building on a 0.34 hectare site at Chapel Arm to provide support services to contracted work in Long Harbour and the surrounding area. The facility will include fabrication/repair services for pipe/spool, fiber reinforced plastic, rubber lining and welding applications (carbon steel, titanium, aluminum, etc.).  A styrene emissions stack will be installed to mitigate potential styrene emissions.

• September 11, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
• October 18, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• October 26, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• January 22, 2017 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
• January 18, 2021 – Release decision has expired and undertaking must be registered again before commencing.
