Project Description:
The proponents propose to redevelop an existing hiking trail network and to construct an additional section of trail between the Town of Salvage and the Town of Sandy Cove on the Eastport Peninsula. The total length will be approximately 12 kilometres traversing various terrain from open barrens with coastal views to forest canopy.
- December 1, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
- January 9, 2018 – Deadline for public comments.
- January 15, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- January 31, 2018 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
- January 25, 2021 – Release decision has expired and undertaking must be registered again before commencing.
