Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to add an additional 12 kilometres of trail to the existing Lark Harbour Multipurpose Trail. The extension will start at Riley’s Brook (Wild Cove Brook) and continue south to Serpentine River (Cold River). The trail will be four metres wide and require three steam crossings. Construction is expected to occur from June to November 2018.
- April 3, 2018 – The undertaking was registered.
- May 9, 2018 – Deadline for public comments.
- May 18, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- July 26, 2018 – Environmental Preview Report (EPR) required.
- September 21, 2018 – Environmental Assessment Committee appointed.
- September 23, 2018 – EPR Guidelines due to be issued.
- October 4, 2018 – EPR Guidelines issued.
- May 4, 2022 – The project has expired.
