Project Description:
The proponent is proposing to establish a facility at an existing building at 127 Clyde Avenue, Mount Pearl, to service the offshore oil and gas industry. The project will include the installation and operation of a self-contained unit for the application of a dry chemical compound to newly manufactured steel casing and tubing products. The process of chemical application will include sandblasting of products and use of a spray booth for the application process. The facility will be equipped with a ventilation system and the installation of the equipment is expected to take four to six weeks.
- June 14, 2018 – The undertaking was registered.
- July 20, 2018 – Deadline for public comments.
- July 28, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
- August 3, 2018 – The Minister’s Decision is due (extended).
- August 10, 2018 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
