Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to build a 5,000 square foot warehouse-style building along Route 230 in the Town of Port Rexton to operate a 15-barrel capacity microbrewery. The Port Rexton Brewing Company Ltd. currently owns and operates a microbrewery and taproom in Port Rexton which includes public access and a hospitality service. The proposed new facility on Route 230 will not have public access, and is needed to expand brewing capacity to meet product demand. The brewery will operate year-round.

• January 7, 2019 – The undertaking was registered.
• February 14, 2019 – Deadline for public comments.
• February 21, 2019 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• March 6, 2019 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
