Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop a marina for recreational boating in Deer Lake. The marina will include a floating breakwater, launchway, floating dock with 40 berths and a building for the storage of boats. The marina is located parallel to the TransCanada Highway near the northern boundary of the community of St. Jude’s and the southern boundary of the Town of Deer Lake.

• March 11, 2019 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 18, 2019 – Deadline for public comments.
• April 25, 2019 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• December 19, 2019 – The Minister announced that the project is withdrawn.
