Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop and operate an RV park at the location of a former camping park along Indian River near Springdale Junction. The proposal includes infrastructure upgrades and new construction, such as an office building and convenience store; access roads; 108 campsites; a septic treatment plant and system installations; comfort stations; water supply wells; playground and beach areas; and hiking trails. Water and electrical services have been installed to the RV campsites. The park will also include an additional 100 campsites, access roads, an equipment laydown area and installation of infrastructure to supply services to these sites.

• April 9, 2019 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 16, 2019 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 24, 2019 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 28, 2019 – The undertaking is released.
• April 30, 2021 – Request to amend the Minister’s decision.
• June 5, 2021 – Deadline for public comments.
• June 15, 2021 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 17, 2021 – The Minister announced that the release is amended.
