Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop a 151-hectare sheep farm and abattoir on Swansea Road in the Town of Victoria, Conception Bay. The farm will have approximately 200 ewe sheep at the end of its five-year business plan. The abattoir will be approximately 7.3 metres by 9.75 metres with a holding pen and sections for meat cutting and secondary processing.

• July 16, 2019 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 26, 2019 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 30, 2019 – The Minister’s decision is due
• September 18, 2019 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
