Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct a 2.5 kilometre crude oil transfer line connecting the NARL refinery with the adjacent Newfoundland Transshipment Limited Terminal facility at Come By Chance. The steel,106-centimetre above ground crude oil connection line will follow a direct path between NARL and the Newfoundland Transshipment Limited Terminal.

The undertaking was registered on October 9, 2019; the deadline for public comments is November 14, 2019; and the minister’s decision is due by November 23, 2019.

• November 23, 2019 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 4, 2020 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
