Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop additional lands for farming to grow vegetables on a 20 hectare lot in Markland. The farm is located on the eastern side of Route 81. The expansion will include land clearing and the removal of debris and rock and the construction of a greenhouse, shed and barn.

• May 21, 2020 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 2, 2020 – Deadline for public comments.
• July 5, 2020 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• August 14, 2020 – The Minister announced the project is released.
