Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop a 4.22-hectare apple orchard near Humber Village, east of Corner Brook. Construction will include clearing vegetation and planting of semi-dwarf rootstock trees. The operation is expected to be fully mature in five years.

• March 24, 2021 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 29, 2021 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 8, 2021 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 21, 2021 – Deadline extended for Minister’s decision.
• May 21, 2021 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
