Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop a 9-hectare laydown area, quarry, and commercial wharf near Graven Bank in the Town of Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay. Development also includes upgrading an existing trail into a 500-metre access road to the quarry, and constructing a 700-metre access road from the quarry to the wharf to allow the load out of processed aggregate materials onto vessels.

• July 14, 2021 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 20, 2021 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 28, 2021 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 8, 2021 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
