Project Description:

The proponent is proposingthe construction and maintenance of a 5 kilometre long x 0.5-1 metre wide hiking trail. The trail extends along the Terra Nova River from Route 310 in Glovertown to the Trans-Canada Highway. Proposed activities include cutting and grubbing, construction of wooden stairs, boardwalks and a lookout area, and the installation of culverts, garbage cans, picnic tables and benches.

• August 25, 2021 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 30, 2021 – Deadline for public comments.
• October 9, 2021 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 23, 2021 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• October 29, 2021 – The Minister announced the project was released.
