Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop approximately 4.9 kilometres of multipurpose trails between Melrose in Trinity Bay North to Peaches Cove, Green Bay. Sections of the trails are being relocated to hard surface ground nearer the shoreline that will be better suited for All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) use from the existing proposed trail.

• July 6, 2023 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 11, 2023 – Deadline for public comments.
• August 20, 2023 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• September 1, 2023 – The Minister’s Decision is due (extended).
• September 29, 2023 – The Minister’s Decision is due (extended).
• October 27, 2023 – The Minister’s Decision is due (extension).
• November 10, 2023 – The Minister’s Decision is due (extended).
• November 3, 2023 – The Minister determined that the project is released.
