Project Description:
The proponent proposes the construction of 23.5 kilometres of resource road and the harvest of 5,000 cubic metres of timber from two locations, Hinds Lake and Snowy Lake. Twenty kilometres of road would be constructed and 2000 cubic metres of timber would be harvested at Hinds Lake (southeast of Grand Lake). Three and one-half kilometres of road would be constructed and 3000 cubic metres of timber would be harvested at Snowy Lake (north of the Upper Humber River). The proponent proposes to begin road construction and timber harvesting this summer.
