Project Description:

This plan outlines all proposed activities on Crown controlled limits, including any exchanges or transfers from the two pulp and paper companies. The intent of the plan is to allow operators to extract timber at sustainable levels and for the Crown to conduct its silviculture and roads program in a manner that will sustain the individual operations while having minimal impact on the forest ecosystem.The undertaking was registered December 17,2001, public comments are due January 22, 2002 and the Minister’s decision is due on January 31, 2002.

• December 17, 2001 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 22, 2002 – Public comments were due.
• August 2, 2002 – The Minister released the project from the environmental assessment process.
