Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct a forest access road to access timber in Forest Management District 8, in the vicinity of Bellmans Pond and Gander River. The fibre harvested will be utilized at the A. L. Stuckless and Sons Ltd. sawmill in Glenwood and at avalue added plant in Springdale. The road construction is tentatively scheduled to begin early in 2002.

• December 27, 2001 – The undertaking was registered.
• February 6, 2002 – Public comments were due.
• February 18, 2002 – The Minister announced that the undertaking was released from environmental assessment.
