Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to expand its existing farmland and develop a 1.2-hectare parcel of Crown land located near the Upper Humber River. The farm is located along a forest access road, southwest of the Town of Hampden, off Route 420. Crops will include strawberries and root vegetables to supply local markets.

• August 21, 2020 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 28, 2020 – Deadline for public comments.
• October 4, 2020 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 19, 2020 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• November 20, 2020 – The Minister announced the project is released.
