Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to re-route an existing Discovery Trails Snowmobile Association trail located near Sexton’s Road, south of Port Blandford. The new section of trail would be approximately four kilometres in length and would by-pass wetland areas near the current route. Construction upgrades include widening the trail for safer operations of snowmobiles and maintenance equipment.

• August 18, 2022 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 22, 2022 – Deadline for public comments.
• October 2, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 30, 2022 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• October 28, 2022 – The Minister determined the project is released.
