Project Description:
The proponent proposes to extend an existing 7.2 kV standard distribution line to provide electrical service to a chlorination building for the town of Hampden. The proposed line extension would require work within 200 metres of Hampden River and stringing of conductor in a narrow corridor across the River which is a scheduled salmon river. The proponent proposes to carry out the project immediately upon release from the environmental assessment process.
- October 22, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
- November 15, 2002 – The proponent submitted a revision to the route of the proposed distribution line.
- November 27, 2002 – Public comments were due.
- December 6, 2002 – The Minister’s decision was due.
- December 16, 2002 – The Minister announced that the undertaking was released from further environmental assessment.
