Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct a communication tower along the Humber River at Bear Head Road (Dancing Point) in Corner Brook. The proposed project involves the erection of a communication tower (30 metres high) and construction of an electronics building (3 metres by 7 metres) including access road and fencing. The proponent proposes to start construction upon release from the environmental assessment process.

• September 2, 2003 – The undertaking was registered.
• October 7, 2003 – Public comments are due.
• November 10, 2003 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
