Project Description:
The proponent plans to renovate an existing 8 metre by 17 metre building for operation of a poultry abattoir for processing of approximately 20,000 to 25,000 poultry per year on Power’s Road, Goulds, near the Fire Hall Training Center. Renovations to the building are planned to start in late August 2004 and begin processing in fall.
- July 2, 2004 – The undertaking was registered.
- August 6, 2004 – Public comments are due.
- August 26, 2004 – The Minister released the project from further environmental assessment.
