Project Description:
The proponent plans to supply and install industrial insulation, epoxy-coatings, rubberized linings and fire retardant material to oil, gas, and mining businesses in the region. The business location will be on route 201, 1 kilometre east of the Trans Canada Highway . The site will include the construction of a 9 metre by 18 metre prefab metal structure, a 6 metre by 6 metre storage shed, and clearing of a lay down area for business-related materials. Construction is to commence in the summer of 2007.
- May 9, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
- June 15, 2007 – Public comments are due.
- June 23, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
- July 4, 2007 – The Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
