Project Description:

The proponent proposes a land-based geophysical exploration program using two dimensional (2D) and possibly three dimensional (3D) seismic survey methods. The exploration is to occur at Garden Hill North and South on the western side of the Port au Port Peninsula . The 2D seismic program will consist of 12 survey lines with a total distance of approximately 115 kilometres over the Garden Hill North area. The 3D seismic program for the Garden Hill South area is to cover an area of approximately 33 kilometres square. The registration describes the project phases: land surveying and line cutting, line chaining, shot hole drilling, and seismic survey works.
