Project Description:

D & M Services Ltd. proposes to develop a 2 hectare extension to their existing quarry located on Route 330 approximately 8 kilometres south of Musgrave Harbour. This extension is required because suitable quarry material at the existing quarry is nearly exhausted. The development and operation of the quarry extension is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2011. Two pieces of heavy equipment are expected to operate in the quarry during operation, employing one to two equipment operators.

• November 10, 2010 – The undertaking was registered.
• December 15, 2010 – Public comments are due.
• December 25, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• January 28, 2010 – The undertaking was released.
