Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct and operate a shellfish processing plantapproximately 10 metres by 35 metres adjacent to the shoreline of Dog Bay, north ofStoneville on the Port Albert Peninsula. The single building plant will be accessed by anewly constructed 200 metre driveway from an existing road. Construction is scheduled tostart June 2014 upon receiving government approval.

• May 29, 2014 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 10, 2014 – Deadline for public comments.
• July 13, 2014 – The minister’s decision is due.
• August 26, 2014 – The minister announced that the project is released.
