Summary of Environmental Assessment Process

Project Description:

The minister has advised the proponent that an environmental preview report (EPR) is required for this project. Additional information requirements shall address, but are not limited to: a topographic survey of elevations for the site; a description of the causeway; a hydraulic analysis of the Town of Embree’s water and sewer systems; subdivision design and infrastructure incorporating buffers and areas of low elevation; an Archaeological Resources Impact Assessment; potential effects of climate change on the proposed project and a description of the Crown land that is available for the project. The minister will issue guidelines to the proponent to assist with the development of the EPR. The public will be invited to provide comments on the EPR upon its submission.
