Project Description:

The proponent proposes to consolidate all its services for fibreglass training, rubber lining and anode repairs to one location at 542 Long Harbour Road, in Long Harbour-Mount Arlington Heights, corner of Route 101 and 202. Eastern Composites Services Inc. has been operating from three locations in the area and plans to consolidate to one existing building (2,800 m2) on a six-acre property located approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Town of Long Harbour and the Vale Plant. Part of the building will include a fibreglass shop (350 m2) and utility space (350 m2) plus an office complex (222 m2) is proposed for outside the building.

• November 29, 2016 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 4, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• January 13, 2017 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• January 18, 2017 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
