Project Description:

The proponent is proposing to develop a 2 hectare sand and gravel quarry 1.4 kilometres off Route 320, 3.5 kilometres north east of Indian Bay. In order to access the site, there will be an upgrade to an old existing ATV trail off of Route 320. The development will include vegetation clearing, grubbing and stockpiling of material on site. The operation will consist of extracting and screening material.

• August 12, 2020 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 18, 2020 – Deadline for public comments.
• September 26, 2020 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• August 24, 2020 – Project description revised.
• September 28, 2020 – Deadline for public comments (extended).
• October 8, 2020 – The Minister’s decision is due (extended).
• October 15, 2020 – The Minister announced the project is released.
