  • Real Time Water Quality Monitoring at the Aur Resources Duck Pond Mine
Two surface water probes have been installed in brooks with natural flow near each end of the tailings pond at the Duck Pond mine site. In addition, a groundwater probe has been installed within 100m of the tailings pond. The purpose of these probes is to monitor various water quality parameters on a near real time basis, thus providing early detection for changes in water quality in the immediate vicinity of the tailings pond and to take appropriate mitigative measures if needed.
