This annual report is written to provide current information on the overall state of public water supplies in Newfoundland and Labrador and to outline the progress of activities and accomplishments under the multi-barrier strategic action plan for drinking water safety. The report also outlines government’s plan for ensuring safe drinking water in the future.

The workshop is intended to provide water system operators and owners with technical information on drinking water systems through presentations and information by water industry experts from across Canada and the USA. The theme of the 2007 Workshop is “Emergency Preparedness, Planning, and Procedures for Small Water Systems”.The Workshop Includes a Trade Show which allows Water Industry Professionals to showcase their goods and services, and expose system owners and operators to new technologies, concepts and equipment.
