Project Description:

The proponent has outlined the proposed forest activities for Districts 10, 11, 12, and 13 for the next planning period (January 1, 2008 to December 31, 2012) which include: harvesting, road building, silviculture and forest protection. A description of the public consultation process and input from government agencies is also included.

• July 30, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 7, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• September 13, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 30, 2007 – The Minister announced the project was released from further environmental assessment review, subject to conditions.
