Occupation Projections for Newfoundland and Labrador are produced periodically by the Economics Division of the Department of Finance. The current projections were released in June 2023.
The projections provide estimates of demand for workers, attrition and job openings by 187 detailed occupational groups in Newfoundland and Labrador to 2032. Ratings are also provided indicating the occupation’s job prospects over the period.
The information on this site is meant to be used in conjunction with other labour market information and tools – decisions should not be based solely on these projections.
