The Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Division is actively participating in Atlantic and national trade harmonization initiatives.
Each province/territory in Canada is separately responsible for apprenticeship training, resulting in thirteen different systems. Harmonization involves working jointly with other jurisdictions in Canada to standardize key elements of their systems.
