The Population Health Branch provides leadership in illness and chronic disease prevention, health promotion and building supportive environments, while continuing to strengthen the care of those who are ill. The divisions representing the continuum of population health activities include: Public Health/Chief Medical Officer of Health, Public Health Laboratory, Public Health Information, Disease Control, Environmental Health, Chronic Disease and Community Relations, Aboriginal Health and Mental Health and Addictions.
