Nursing Policy is overseen by the Provincial Chief Nurse position within this division, and provides leadership, strategic advice, and nursing expertise to the department and regional health authorities on a wide range of complex provincial health policy and programs relevant to and/or affecting nursing; works in collaboration with the Health Workforce Planning Division and other staff in the department on a wide array of issues and initiatives affecting nursing resources and practice; and, builds strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
