The Financial Services Division manages the internal and external financial affairs of the department, including:
- providing financial management consulting, advisory and information services to the department’s management team and other stakeholders within government;
- preparing the department’s annual budget;
- determining the annual budget allocations for the regional health authorities and related agencies in consultation with Acute Care and Emergency Response Division staff;
- managing the department’s budget monitoring program for health and community services organizations; and,
- coordinating the office management and administrative support services related to the department’s day-to-day operations.
