The Planning and Evaluation Division coordinates departmental activities related to a range of planning activities and supports monitoring and evaluation that contributes to improved policy and program development while cultivating a culture of quality. The division coordinates departmental planning and accountability measures through the development of strategic, operational and work plans, annual performance reports and performance contracts and supports formal monitoring and reporting activities within the department and by entities that report to the minister.
