Premier’s Summit on Health Care

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is assessing the delivery of primary health care services in our province, and we want your input. Primary health care is usually the first point of contact with the health care system and includes activities such as visiting your family doctor, discussing a prescription with a pharmacist, or speaking with a registered nurse through the HealthLine. Primary health care has an important role to play in all areas of health care including mental health and addictions, dementia care, healthy living, aging and chronic disease management.
